So as I was sitting here at work sipping on a nice delicious cup of Dr. Pepper, I decided that I would search "Useless Information" in the Yahoo search engine. As I read some of the websites, one in particular came to my attention; www.indianchild.com. I don't know why it stood out to me, but I found some information that could potentially change the way you look at energy... and other things. Ok so todays fact is:
If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days, you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee. If you fart consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb.
Now this is a really cool fact. I mean I don't drink coffee, or have any desire to ever drink it so me yelling for 8 years, 7 months, and 6 days to heat a cup of coffee would make absolutely no sense. Now an atomic bomb is a whole different story. I am not saying that I want to drop a bomb on anyone, but knowing that I could produce the energy for one is quite comforting. Now all I need is to be able to look into the future to see events in my life that would require me to ever need to create the energy for an atomic bomb. So when I discover that event in which I would need to create enough energy for the atomic bomb, I would need to start 6 years and 9 months to get ready. Although it would be disgusting, just knowing that I can create that kind of energy passing gas is just really really cool.
Hopefully I will never have to create loads of energy to do anything like heating a cup of coffee, or creating the energy of an atomic bomb, but I just love the things that your body is capable.
